Ramblings of a Tech-Nerd

Let's begin with a definition, shall we?

Rambling (dictionary.com)
ram·bling  [ram-bling]
 –adjective

1. aimlessly wandering.
2. taking an irregular course; straggling: a rambling brook.
3. spread out irregularly in various directions: a rambling mansion.
4. straying from one subject to another; desultory: a rambling novel.

What does any of this have to do with anything at all?  How does it apply to these blogs and their contents?  Will the sun come up tomorrow?  Who is that sneaking up behind you?!  Are apes smarter than monkeys?  Can an infinite number of either manage to duplicate the entire collected works of William Shakespeare given an infinite number of typewriters and an infinite amount of time?  Stay tuned to find out the exciting answers to some (but not all) of these questions!

The first blog (Random Ramblings) will be my random dumping ground for blog posts which do not fit into one of the more topic specific blogs which I will also try to be posting in.  While I do intend to try my best to stay organized here, please understand that I am by no means a professional writer, nor have I ever ventured into public speaking or writing at any time before this, so bear with me as I try to get my brain wrapped around some new skills here.  Things may be a bit random and chaotic at first, and posts may come few and far between while I adapt, but I hope to share some things here which others may find useful and beneficial in some way.  Let the adventure begin!
